Reboot - Live Drum & Bass act.
Reboot is a 7 person band which plays completely improvised Live Drum'n'Bass. No songs are written and rehearsed so every show is different from the other. The band is so free that they are able to tailor a performance to the atmosphere of its location. A gig on a summer festival will sound completely different from a gig played in a club late at night. Reboot really is a unique form of entertainment. A band made to perform live. You can Listen to Reboot live @ Lowlands 2004 in the Audio section of this site. These are the guys that make the reboot sound:
Luke: He is the beating heart of the band. His well thought out Jungle beats are the basis of this Drum'n'Bass Jam. This drum teacher knows what he's doing.
Callous MB: Deep sounds and funky lines, this bassplayer is used to playing. After playing along with DJ's he wanted to play DnB completely live and formed Reboot.
MC PAT: PAT is a real master of ceremony. He guides the band and entertaines the audience. He's a real freestyler that always has a rhyme ready.
DJ Flanagan: Being voted best Dutch Drum'n'Bass DJ in 2002 this man knows about the music. He always scratches in his DJ sets and in Reboot he goes all the way.
Antal: This versatile percussionist has been playing all kinds of music for years. The rolling rhytmics of his Cajon give the band that real Drum'n'Bass feel.
Polycorn: This man puts all kinds of effects over the snare drums, the MC and the Percussionist. He's a real computer-nerd but the sounds he produces are mad.
Stef: This actually is a 3-in-1 musician. With his guitar, effects and samplers he fills the music with several layers of sound varying from jazzy to freaky.
